A Short Bibliography of Recent Studies on Roman Demography in English

This bibliography was generously contributed by Thomas Anderson.  He purposely restricted it, with the exception of a few classic works,  to recent works in English with good bibliographies that make a contribution to one of the many debates on this difficult subject.

The editor would appreciate further contributions.
